TICKETS AT WIMBLEDON

Demand for Wimbledon tickets always exceeds supply; therefore the Club operates a public ballot for advance sales of a number of Centre, No. 1 and No. 2 Court tickets. Tickets are also sold through The Lawn Tennis Association to affiliated clubs, schools, their membership scheme and foreign tennis associations. The All England Club has also appointed two official tour operators who provide overseas tours and hospitality packages including tickets and London hotel accommodation.

Despite increasing pressure to the contrary, it is our policy to retain a significant number of tickets for the general public. We also continue with extensive measures to minimize the black market and ensure that tickets are used by those who originally bought them.

 Buying Tickets

AELTC PUBLIC BALLOT

The majority of Centre, No.1 and No.2 Court tickets are sold in advance via a public ballot. Entry into the ballot does not automatically entitle applicants to tickets for Wimbledon, but a place in the draw for tickets.

The closing date for the Public Ballot has now passed and no applications received at the Club with a postmark dated after the 31st December will be entered into the Ballot. The first ballot took place in January and successful applicants will be notified from February onwards.

If you have missed the ballot deadline for this year and would like information on visiting The Championships, especially if you are intending to purchase a ticket at the turnstiles on the day of play, you can write to the Ticket Office for a copy of our Guide for Non-Ticket Holders. Please send a self-addressed , stamped, envelope to: AELTC, PO Box 98, LONDON, SW19 5AE.
