Event Schedule
The event will take place on 17 May 2009 at The All England Lawn Tennis Club.
The club will open to the public at 12:00 noon. The roof is scheduled to close at 2:30pm or earlier if raining. Play is due to start at 3:00pm and is expected to finish by 6:30pm. All times are subject to change on the day.
Tickets
Tickets for A Centre Court Celebration have now sold out.
Food and Drink
The Tea Lawn and Officials Buttery will be selling baguettes, sandwiches, hot food, salads, muffins, cake slices, biscuits, tea, coffee and cold drinks.
Dutchee sausages and Sizzling Chicken Salad will be available from the Tea Lawn.
The Long Bar will be open as well as a Pimm's-to-go unit.
Travelling to the Grounds
The Centre Court Celebration will be held at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Church Road, Wimbledon, London. The main entrance to the AELTC is on Church Road.
On street parking will NOT be permitted in any of the roads around the All England Club on 17 May 2009 during the Centre Court Celebration. Offending vehicles will be removed.
All spectators are strongly advised to use public transport services wherever possible.
Security and left luggage
The maximum bag size permitted is 38 x 30 x 15cm (15 x 12 x 6 inches). All visitors are limited to one bag per person and hard sided bags/picnic hampers/brief cases of any size will be NOT allowed into the grounds. Limited left luggage facilities will be available outside the grounds.
Museum and Retail
Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum is open to those attending the day from noon until 5:00pm (Entrance Fee £8.50). The Wimbledon Shops in Centre Court and in the Museum will be open from 12 noon until 7:00pm.
Programme
A souvenir programme will be sold on the day for £5 at the programme kiosks around the grounds.
