Transport

Travelling to A Centre Court Celebration

The Championships are held at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Church Road, Wimbledon, London.

All spectators are strongly advised to use public transport services wherever possible.

Car Parking

There will be car parking available for £20 in Car Park 5 (Church Road) and at St Mary's Church, a private car park (cost tbc). There is no parking at the All England Club or and there will be stringent restrictions on all roads leading to the Club.

The Transport for London website offers a comprehensive journey planner for travelling around London by train, tube, tram and bus.


Rail

There is a regular train service from London (Waterloo) to Wimbledon Station. In addition many other long distance trains call at Wimbledon from stations such as Portsmouth, Havant, Winchester, Southampton, Bournemouth, Poole, Basingstoke, Andover, Salisbury and Exeter.


London Underground

District Line trains run regularly to Southfields and Wimbledon stations. Northern Line trains run to South Wimbledon station.

A number of tube lines are suspended on the day which may may affect your journey.

  • Jubilee Line: Suspended between Stanmore and London Bridge.
  • Waterloo & City Line: Suspended.
  • Circle Line: Suspended.
  • Central Line: Suspended between Liverpool Street and Leytonstone.
  • District Line: Suspended between Earls Court and Whitechapel.

Trams

There is a regular tram service from Trams from East Croydon station to Wimbledon station.


Buses

A special bus service will be operating from Wimbledon station to the Club (Travel Cards, Oyster Cards and Bus Passes are not valid on the special bus service).

The 493 bus (running between Richmond and Tooting) and the 39 bus (running between Clapham Junction and Putney Bridge) both stop close to the All England Club.


Taxis

The taxi ranks in Church Road, Somerset Road and Augustus Road will be available for use by licensed taxis. There will be a designated 'rank' in Marryat Road for other private hire vehicles to drop off passengers. Waiting for a pickup is not permitted.
