Michael Llodra secured his second career title on Sunday after beating Jarkko Nieminen 6-3 6-4 in the final of the Adelaide International.
It was a rare win for the 27-year-old Frenchman, who advanced to the final in Adelaide in 2004 but fell in straight sets to Dominik Hrbaty of Slovakia.
Llodra, who ousted home favourite Joseph Sirianni in the semi-finals, served six aces against the Finn and won 88% of his first-serve points.
It was Nieminen's first appearance in a final since losing to world number one Roger Federer of Switzerland in Basle in October.
